About Me:
Hi! My name is Molly.
Reading has been my favorite hobby since I was a child. After falling in love with history in high school, I earned the Trustee Scholarship to the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
I have worked at USC Annenberg School of Journalism; The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens; and Caltech. I currently work for an independent audiobook publisher. I have interned for Tule Publishing and am currently interning for P.S. Literary Agency.
I love history, arts, theatre, and, you guessed it, books! My favorite bookish activities include reading books, making lists of books I have read and books I want to read, swapping books, quoting books, shopping for books, and attending book talks. And I love chatting about books, so feel free to say hello on my Instagram (@molly.b.reads) and tell me what you’ve been reading!
Books I helped with / articles I have written:
I was the Archival Assistant for OUTWORDS, the national interview archive of the LGBTQ+ experience, and worked on The Book of Pride: LGBTQ Heroes Who Changed the World by Mason Funk (HarperOne, 2019)
I have been published twice by the Los Angeles Times:
L.A. Affairs column: Why I Have a Fear of Falling… in Love (June 2017)
